This is the third Educators’ Forum.
The second Educators’ Forum was held at Tahlita Kumi school august 2007. See Proceedings 2007.
The first was held at Bethlehem University, July 2005 as the Educators’ Forum on Education, Democracy, Identity and Conflict.
From this first initiative came a recommendation to “form a formal international committee that focuses on Palestinian education under occupation and a plan to organize future meeting and other educational activities.” This recommendation led to the formation of the International Committee on Education and Occupation (ICEO), the organizers of the Second Educators’ Forum: Education in 40 Years of Occupation, 1967 - 2007.
